A musical and visual treat

Having acquired the vinyl in my teens and have loved the musical score since, I was delighted when my daughter bought tickets for the show. She too is now a fan. Visual effects and sound superb. Mr Jeff Wayne himself loving life, and the hologram bringing Liam Neeson to the stage….we were truly entertained. Loved every minute!

Great show

I really enjoyed the show, the conductor and all musicians were great and the narrator very good too. Definitely recommend it. The only thing we didn't like was the background screen with the graphics. Definitely unnecessary, the production could have been far more creative with the set design or none would be good as well just for enjoying the music and the narration.

The music was incredible, the ai slop visuals were not

I loved the live musical performance but was extremely disappointed that the background visuals were ai generated slop. It really took away from what could've been an amazing show.

Not impressed, disappointed never again!

I am only giving this 2 starts as the band and music was brilliant, plus all the singers other then the narrator were great... That is where the positives end! The organisation and implementing of getting people into the venue was bad, it took 50 minutes from arriving at the Apollo Hammersmith to actually getting into the venue, serious lacking in planning and organisation of the crowds. The narrator was the biggest disappointment of the whole experience, his diction was poor, his singing voice was lacking, his emphasis of key elements of the story was completely missing in his voice, he tried to create the drama in his acting rather than his spoken word, plus he was narrating very fast, sounded like he was speaking at 1.5 times the normal speed!! If it was not for the brilliant band I would have walked out along with some of the other people around me; one group left about 5 minutes into the performance! I do not usually leave reviews but this experience massively disappointed!

Disappointing

While the orchestra did an amazing job and the music was fantastic the rest of the show was a total disappointment. Someone forgot to pack the set and the props! Dreadful grafics made it painful to watch and we left after the 1st half!

Terrible

Possibly the worst show I've ever seen. A projected backdrop of AI slop which didn't even fit the narrative. Sound quality that made it very difficult to hear what was being said. No real use of the stage at all. I'd been looking forward to going for so long, and I can't believe just how disappointed I was. It was terrible.
